Placed on injured reserve
Bradberry (lower leg) was placed on the Eagles' injured reserve Thursday.
Analysis: Bradberry sustained the injury during Wednesday's practice, and the initial timeline for his return is 6-to-8 weeks. The 2016 second-round pick will be forced to sit for the first four games of the regular season, and with the Eagles on a bye for Week 5, the earliest he could return would be for Week 6 against the Browns on Oct. 13. When he returns, Bradberry is expected to be utilized in multiple positions across the Eagles' secondary, primarily serving at safety.

Out 6-to-8 weeks with leg injury
Bradberry (lower leg) suffered an injury involving a tendon during Wednesday's practice and is expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Bradberry's injury reportedly won't require surgery, but it will almost certainly lead to a stint on IR. That would rule out Bradberry, who converted to safety this offseason, out for Philadelphia's first four games of the year, which aligns with the recovery timetable offered by Rapoport. The Eagles have a Week 5 bye, and Bradberry's earliest recovery timeline could leave him available to face the Browns on Oct. 13 in Week 6.

Switching to safety
Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio told reporters Thursday that Bradberry will be moving to safety in 2024, Kevin Patra of NFL.com reports.
Analysis: After being spotted working with the second-team defense at safety Wednesday, Fangio made Bradberry's positional change official when talking to reporters Thursday. Fangio also noted that Bradberry could still play some corner for Philadelphia as well. If the positional switch works out for the Eagles, Bradberry could serve as a versatile defensive back and even get a starting nod in the team's secondary. Conversely, the 30-year-old could be in jeopardy of missing Philadelphia's 53-man roster…read more

Working with second team
Bradberry (undisclosed) was spotted working with the second-team defense at safety Wednesday, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.
Analysis: Bradberry had been dealing with some sort of injury earlier in the offseason, but it now seems as if he's moved past the issue. After posting an All-Pro campaign in 2022, Bradberry's play substantially declined the following season, as he allowed 590 receiving yards and nine touchdowns in primary coverage across 16 regular-season games. Expect the 30-year-old to serve as a rotational defensive back in Philadelphia's secondary in 2024.

Dealing with injury
Bradberry was absent from the Eagles' minicamp session Thursday after sustaining an undisclosed injury Tuesday, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports.
Analysis: The ninth-year veteran is dealing with an unspecified injury that's kept him out of mandatory minicamp, but there's no word on the severity as of now. Bradberry had a down year after receiving All-Pro honors in 2022, and he's expected to remain an integral part of Philadelphia's secondary once he moves past this issue.

Getting moved around
Bradberry has been seeing work at safety during practices this week, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Analysis: Bradberry has also been seeing work inside at slot cornerback, as head coach Nick Sirianni is looking to take advantage of his versatility. With rookie first-round pick Quinyon Mitchell penciled in as a starter at corner opposite Darius Slay (back), the 30-year-old Bradberry may lose his starting gig after struggling in 2023. Fewest picks since 2018
Bradberry finished the year with 54 tackles and just one interception in 16 regular-season games.
Analysis: Bradberry had managed at least three picks in each of the previous four seasons, but his Week 12 interception against the Bills was all he managed this season. He did account for one more turnover, recovering a fumble in Week 3 against the Bucs.

Catches crucial interception in win
Bradberry recorded three tackles (three solo) and five passes defensed including an interception in Sunday's 37-34 overtime win versus the Bills.
Analysis: Bradberry played a season-high 92 defensive snaps in Week 12, but his best one came early in the fourth quarter when he picked off a Josh Allen pass on Buffalo's half of the field, setting up a late go-ahead touchdown toss. He'll have tough assignments again in Week 13 in Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk.

In line to play Sunday
Bradberry (ankle) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Commanders.
Analysis: The All-Pro corner popped up on Philadelphia's injury report Thursday with an ankle issue, but it seems as if he'll be able to play through the injury this Sunday. Bradberry has appeared in six games for the Eagles this year, recording 22 total tackles and four pass deflections.

Limited in practice
Bradberry (ankle) was a limited participant in practice Thursday after not appearing on the injury report Wednesday.
Analysis: The cornerback's status in Friday's practice session will now be something to monitor as the Eagles prepare to face the Commanders on Sunday. Bradberry missed Philadelphia's Week 2 win over the Vikings with a concussion but has started the team's other six games. The 2022 All-Pro has 22 tackles, four passes defensed and a fumble recovery in 2023.

Practicing in full Friday
Bradberry (concussion) was a full participant at practice Friday.
Analysis: Bradberry was limited at practice Thursday, but he took the next step towards being available for Week 3 by practicing in full Friday. Philadelphia will need everything at their disposal in the defensive backfield when they line up against Mike Evans and Chris Godwin on Monday.

Gets in limited practice
Bradberry (concussion) was limited in Thursday's practice.
Analysis: Zach Berman of The Athletic reported Thursday that Bradberry has cleared the concussion protocol. Bradberry missed Week 2 against the Vikings, a game in which the Eagles conceded a stellar performance to Minnesota quarterback Kirk Cousins. Getting Bradberry back for a Monday night Week 3 matchup against the Buccaneers' Mike Evans and Chris Godwin will be a boost.

Out for Week 2
Bradberry (concussion) is listed as out for Thursday's game versus Minnesota.
Analysis: Philadelphia will be without one of its top boundary corners when it plays host to Justin Jefferson and the Vikings in Week 2. Bradberry should hopefully be able to return in the next couple weeks, but in the meantime, Josh Jobe is expected to take over a starting role.

Enters protocol
Bradberry was diagnosed with a concussion after exiting Sunday's 25-20 win over the Patriots, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Analysis: Bradberry exited the game late after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit and didn't return. With a short week ahead as the Eagles host the Vikings this Thursday, the veteran corner will have little time to pass through the league's five-step concussion protocol to be cleared to play. If he's unable to do so, Josh Jobe would likely step in as his replacement in the starting lineup.

Heads to locker room late
Bradberry went to the locker room in the closing minutes of Sunday's win over the Patriots due to an apparent head injury, Olivia Reiner of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Analysis: Bradberry was removed from Sunday's matchup following a helmet-to-helmet hit and was unavailable to close out the game. It's unclear whether he'll be available for Thursday's matchup against the Vikings.

Back at practice
Bradberry (groin) participated in team drills at Thursday's practice, Fran Duffy and Chris McPherson of the Eagls' official website reports.
Analysis: Bradberry had been considered day-to-day with a groin injury, but it looks like he has worked his way past that issue. It remains to be seen what level of involvement the starting cornerback will see in Philadelphia's preseason opener in Baltimore on Saturday.

Day-to-day due to groin injury
Bradberry (groin) isn't practicing Friday, Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Analysis: Bradberry's viewed as day-to-day, so he isn't expected to miss significant time. The veteran cornerback signed a three-year, $38 million contract with the Eagles in the offseason after racking up 44 tackles and 17 passes defensed for Philadelphia last season. The Eagles begin preseason play Aug. 12 in Baltimore.

Stays in Philadelphia
Bradberry and the Eagles agreed Tuesday on a three-year, $38 million deal that includes $20 million fully guaranteed, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Bradberry played 1,041 snaps last year, which was the fifth straight year in which he's played at least 990 snaps. Last year, he was credited with 17 passes defensed, and he's posted 17 or 18 in each of the last three seasons. He also has intercepted at least three passes in every year since 2019. He was a critical component of the Eagles defense as part of an excellent cornerback duo with Darius Slay. Excels in Philadelphia
Bradberry appeared in all 17 regular-season contests in 2022 and posted 44 tackles, 17 pass defenses, three interceptions and one defensive touchdown.
Analysis: Bradberry was released by the Giants and joined their division rival last offseason. It was business as usual for the veteran defensive back, as he notched his fourth straight campaign with at least three picks and recorded his first career defensive touchdown. He signed a one-year, $10 million deal with Philadelphia, so he's headed toward free agency this spring, though the Eagles would presumably be very interested in a reunion.

James returned an interception for a touchdown and recorded a pair of tackles in Sunday's Week 1 win over the Lions.

Bradberry (groin) returned to practice Wednesday, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports.
Analysis: Bradberry looks ready to go ahead of the 2022 regular season after participating in Wednesday's practice following a groin injury. Sidelined with groin issue
Bradberry (groin) didn't participate in practice Thursday, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: The severity of Bradberry's injury is unclear, but expect to hear more regarding his status sometime before the team's preseason game Sunday against the Browns. Joins up with Philadelphia
Bradberry agreed to terms Wednesday with the Eagles on a one-year, $10 million contract, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Just over a week after having been released by the Giants, Bradberry links up with one of New York's division rivals. The 28-year-old fills a significant hole at cornerback for Philadelphia, after the team neglected to address the position early in April's draft. Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, Bradberry was contacted by 11 teams upon hitting free agency, but he ultimately decided on a landing spot that would give him two attempts to face off against the Giants, with whom he racked up 101 tackles,…read more

Released by Big Blue
The Giants released Bradberry on Monday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Bradberry was a productive member of the Giants secondary over the last two seasons, registering 101 tackles, seven interceptions, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. However, per Duggan, New York can save over $10 million in much-needed cap space by releasing the 2016 second-round pick ahead of June 1. While the team wasn't able to trade the 28-year-old, he's expected to be heavily sought after when he hits free agency.

Picks off another pass
Bradberry registered two solo tackles, one pass deflection and one interception during Sunday's win over the Panthers.
Analysis: Through the first seven games of the 2021 campaign, Bradberry has racked up three interceptions -- tying his career-high. The 28-year-old cornerback has also recorded at least one pass deflection in every game this season. Bradberry's meager tackle total lowers his fantasy floor, but his ball skills make him a viable option for deeper IDP leagues.

Brings down INT
Bradberry posted seven tackles (six solo), a pass breakup and an interception during Thursday's 30-29 loss to Washington.
Analysis: Bradberry picked off Taylor Heinicke deep in Washington territory with 2:22 remaining in the fourth quarter, setting up a brief Giants lead that was squandered by Washington's last-second field goal. Through two games, Bradberry has recorded 14 tackles, two pass breakups and an interception.

Outstanding inaugural season
Bradberry notched 54 tackles (44 solo), 18 defended passes, three interceptions, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery across 15 games in 2020.
Analysis: Bradberry's presence as one of the league's few true shutdown cornerbacks played an enormous role in the rise of New York's secondary down the stretch in 2020, though his style of play doesn't lend itself to massive fantasy numbers. He played 100 percent of defensive snaps during 12 of 15 contests in his first season with the Giants, and he remains under contract with the team through 2023. He earned Second-Team All-Pro honors in 2020 for his quality of play.

Returns from COVID-19 list
Bradberry was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Analysis: Bradberry was considered a high-risk close contact to an infected person, causing him to miss Sunday's 20-6 loss to the Browns. He has cleared the league's COVID-19 protocols and will return to team activities this week to start preparing for a Week 16 matchup against the Ravens. On COVID-19 list, out Week 15
The Giants placed Bradberry on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday after he was identified as a close contact of an individual who tested positive for the virus.
Analysis: Due to the timing of his move to the list, Bradberry won't be available for Sunday's game against the Browns, though he could be activated as soon as Monday if he continues to test negative and exhibits no symptoms of the virus. The Giants noted that Bradberry wasn't infected by an individual within the organization, suggesting his move to the reserve/COVID-19 list is unrelated to offensive coordinator Jason Garrett's recent positive test. Picks off first pass of season
Bradberry recorded four solo tackles, an interception and four passes defensed in Sunday's 17-13 loss to the Bears.

Comes to terms with Giants
The Giants and Bradberry came to agreement on a three-year, $45 million contract Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Despite shadowing the opponent's top receiver regularly during his time with the Panthers, Bradberry averaged 4.7 tackles per game while racking up eight interceptions, three sacks and two forced fumbles across 60 contests. He'll immediately serve as the Giants' top cornerback, likely operating opposite second-year pro Deandre Baker.

Drawing interest from over 20 teams
More than 20 teams are interested in pursing Bradberry in free agency, Alaina Getzenberg of the Charlotte Observer reports.
Analysis: The Panthers appear unlikely to place the franchise tag, which would carry a value of at least $16 million, on Bradberry. He'll thus become an unrestricted free agent March 18, and Carolina is likewise unlikely to match the price tag that other teams around the league are willing to offer the 26-year-old, with his potential deals being in the reported range of $15 million per year. Analysis: Carolina has relayed that it wants Bradberry back, but the 26-year-old wants to be compensated for his performance against some of the league's top receivers. Considering the Panthers are in a division with the likes of Julio Jones, Michael Thomas, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, they'll need a lockdown corner to be competitive moving forward. Just three tackles in loss
Bradberry notched three solo tackles and one defended pass during Sunday's 38-6 loss to the Colts.

Bradberry made five solo tackles and two assisted tackles in Sunday's 29-3 loss to the Falcons.
Analysis: After missing last week's contest with a groin injury, Bradberry made his presence known in the box score, but his seven tackles were nowhere near enough to lift Carolina to a win Sunday. In the midst of the Panthers' "so-so" season, Bradberry has played quite well, already with 42 tackles and a career-high three interceptions in nine contests in 2019. Bradberry (groin) will play Week 11 against the Falcons, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Bradberry missed last week's loss at Green Bay due to the groin injury but practiced fully Friday and is good to go Sunday. The 26-year-old played every defensive snap this season before Week 8 when he sustained the injury, and he should return to his starting role versus Atlanta.

Bradberry (groin) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Brendan Marks of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Completes limited practice
Bradberry (groin) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.
Analysis: Bradberry didn't get onto the practice field last week until Friday, and he was ultimately inactive for this past Sunday's loss to the Packers. The fourth-year corner has started this week on a better note, and a full-speed practice would extinguish any worries about his status for Sunday's tilt against the Falcons.

Draws questionable tag
Bradberry (groin) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Packers, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Bradberry will be a game-time decision, so the starting cornerback's availability could come down to how well he feels during warmups. If Bradberry is unable to suit up, it will be a huge blow to Carolina's secondary, especially against a passing attack led by Aaron Rodgers.

Watches practice from sidelines
Bradberry (groin) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice.
Analysis: Bradberry left this past Sunday's win over the Titans with a groin issue, but he revealed after the game he could've returned if necessary since it was just cramping. It may be more serious than that since Bradberry missed the first official practice of the week, but coach Ron Rivera expects Bradberry to return to work Thursday, according to Max Henson of the Panthers' official site. Not dealing with serious injury
Bradberry (groin) said he experienced cramping during Sunday's 30-20 win over the Titans and could have returned to the contest if necessary, Brendan Marks of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Analysis: Bradberry's injury surfaced late in the game, and the Panthers had a sizable lead at the time. There was no reason to risk putting Bradberry back on the field, but his status for the Week 10 matchup against the Packers doesn't look like it's in jeopardy at this time.
